Clear Start Assessment

Wegovy is a prescription medication designed to aid weight loss and weight maintenance in adults with obesity or overweight conditions. It contains semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that regulates appetite and food intake. By mimicking the action of the GLP-1 hormone, Wegovy helps reduce hunger, increase feelings of fullness, and decrease calorie consumption.

Administered once weekly via a pre-filled FlexTouch pen, Wegovy offers a convenient and effective approach to weight management when combined with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Why Choose Wegovy FlexTouch Pens

Wegovy provides several benefits for individuals seeking weight management solutions:

  • Effective Weight Loss: Clinical studies have shown significant weight loss results in patients using Wegovy alongside lifestyle changes.

  • Convenient Dosing: Once-weekly injections simplify the treatment regimen.

  • Gradual Dose Escalation: Starting with a lower dose and gradually increasing helps minimize gastrointestinal side effects.

  • Improved Health Outcomes: Weight loss achieved with Wegovy can lead to improvements in blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and blood sugar control.

This Medication is suitable for adults with a BMI of 30 or higher, or 27 or higher with at least one weight-related health condition. It is not intended for use in combination with other weight loss products.

Important Note

This medication needs to be approved for use by a healthcare professional. It’s essential to follow the prescribed dosing schedule and not exceed the recommended dose. Regular monitoring of weight, blood sugar levels, and other health parameters is advised during treatment.

  • Yes—Wegovy is designed to be used alongside a calorie-controlled diet and regular physical activity. These lifestyle changes help boost results and support long-term weight management.
  • Wegovy is intended for ongoing use in adults who benefit from it. As long as your doctor agrees it's helping and you’re not experiencing serious side effects, you can continue using it to support your weight loss and overall health goals.
  • If you miss a dose and it’s been less than 5 days, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s been more than 5 days, skip that dose and take the next one on your usual scheduled day. Never take two doses within 72 hours.
  • Not quite—both contain semaglutide, but Wegovy is specifically approved for weight management, while Ozempic is primarily used for type 2 diabetes. They have different dosing strengths and schedules, so they’re not interchangeable.
