Whether you’re heading off for a family holiday, business trip, spiritual pilgrimage, or backpacking adventure, our Travel Clinic is here to help you prepare. We offer trusted advice, essential vaccines, and convenient appointments, so you can travel with confidence and peace of mind.
Why Travel Vaccinations Are Important
When visiting countries where certain diseases are more common, your body may not be ready to fight off unfamiliar infections. Travel vaccines help protect you from serious illnesses like Hepatitis A, Yellow Fever, Typhoid, and more. In some cases, vaccinations aren’t just recommended — they’re required to enter specific countries.
Getting the right protection in place before you go is a key part of planning any trip abroad.
How Do Travel Vaccines Work?
Travel vaccines help your immune system recognise and fight off certain viruses or bacteria. They’re designed to prepare your body in advance, giving you a better defence if you’re exposed while abroad. Most vaccines should be given at least two to three weeks before you travel, giving your body time to respond properly. Some, like the rabies vaccine, may require a longer course — so early booking is always a good idea.

Hajj & Umrah Vaccines + Certificate
If you’re travelling to Saudi Arabia for Hajj or Umrah, you’ll need proof of the Meningitis ACWY vaccine to get your visa. At Mentor Pharmacy, we provide both the vaccine and the official certificate for just £50. Our team makes the process quick and easy, so you can focus on preparing for your journey.
What to Expect at Your Travel Clinic Appointment
Your visit will include a short consultation with one of our trained pharmacists, followed by any recommended vaccines. You’ll also get advice on staying well during your trip, and a certificate if needed. Most appointments take around 15 to 30 minutes from start to finish.
Pricing
Vaccine prices can vary depending on which ones you need and how many doses are required. We aim to keep our prices fair and competitive, with clear costs discussed during your consultation. The Meningitis ACWY vaccine with certificate is available for £50.
Feel free to contact us if you’d like a general idea of pricing before your visit.
When Should You Book?
We recommend booking your appointment at least 3 to 6 weeks before you travel. Some vaccines take time to become fully effective, and others may need more than one dose spread over several weeks. If your trip is coming up soon, don’t worry — get in touch and we’ll do what we can to help.
